The Gaulitanus Choir's 3 up-and-coming sopranos Patricia Buttigieg, Stephanie Portelli and Annabelle Zammit will be participating in the 17th edition of the Rencontres Musicales de Mediterranee, which is taking place on the island of Corsica.

They will be accompanied on the piano by the Choir's musical director, Colin Attard, who has been invited by the organisers of this international festival, the Jeunesses Musicales de Mediterranee, to lead a group of Maltese artists to represent our country at this prestigious festival featuring various countries from the Mediterranean basis.

The Gozitan artists will give two public concerts in Lucciana and Sisco respectively, as well as an educational event at Oletta. They will also animate a mass at the convent of Sant Antonio in Bastia, and of course also take part in the festival's concluding Gala Concert held at Bastia's Theatre Municipal alongside all the other participating groups.

Mro Attard stated that other performances on foreign soil are already scheduled for the choir and soloists.
