Zminijietna – Voice of the Left has called upon the Finance Minister to treat equally all those that work in voluntary sector.

"The fiscal measure of tax breaks for private companies that contribute money to the Malta Community Chest Fund should also be extended to voluntary organisations," it said.

"President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations and many other Non Governmental Organisations had also criticised the Minister for being selective," and Zminijietna – Voice of the Left said that it "appeals to the Minister of Finance to extend the tax break measure to voluntary organisations."
