A reminder that this Saturday, residents of Gozo have the opportunity to experience `The Journey – a dance spectacular,` produced by the Turning Pointe Dance Theatre with Gozo Gymnastics Academy.

The Journey is all about the dances, costumes, scenery and music of 15 different countries in just one evening. From Malta to Mexico. From Sicily to Saudi Arabia. From Africa to America and so many more.

The Journey will take the audience through a seemingly endless parade of movement, colour, traditional music and exotic locations.

The show's director and choreographer, Sarah Clare has chosen the particular countries on display in order, she said, to highlight the diversity of the cultures involved, each of them exhibiting their own exciting brand of music and movement.

This magical journey will begin and end in our beloved islands of Gozo and Malta, as the talents of all those involved are presented in this spectacular evening to show the world that their special brand of dance is truly an art form, speaking to the furthest reaches of the globe through our own remarkable traditions.

The show will host special guest Étoile dancer Donatien Ravet and will contain a live commentary from Ex-Dr Who actor, Valentine Palmer.

The Journey is being performed at the Astra Theatre Victoria Gozo on Saturday, the 19th of December and starts at 7.30pm.
