Earlier this month, the Order of Malta Volunteers in Gozo organised a fundraising lunch at Ta' Frenc Restaurant in order to increase their commitments to various charities and missions.

During this event a donation was presented to Dr Stephen Vassallo KM, who has been serving a Guatemalan mission over the past years. This aid will go towards the purchase of food supplies in one of the poorest areas in the American continent.

Chris Galea Director of the Order of Malta Volunteers in Gozo, said that the volunteers were happy to support this mission; "In the past we have also sent ophthalmic supplies to the mission."

Dr John B Pace President of the Order of Malta Volunteers in Gozo and several distinguished benefactors also attended. the lunch.
