The Seismic Monitoring and Research Group SMRG – University of Malta has recorded a Magnitude 4.4 earthquake earlier this evening, 17:01 GMT (18:01:30 local time), about 40 km north east of Malta, in the Sicily Channel.
The tremor was felt in many areas across Gozo and Malta and the Group is asking for people to report information on their website here.
In Malta our Parliamentarians came out of Parliament with their tails between their legs. So much is their trust in the Parliament building and it’s Architect Renzo Piano.
