The Racing Pigeon Society of Victoria Gozo, has over 50 members and every year it hosts the `Gozo Pigeon Show,' which this year was held at Xewkia Primary School.

This year's show saw 195 pigeons exhibited, with competitors coming from around Malta and Gozo.The winners this were: Young birds non raced, Cocks- John Portelli (Bellusi), Hens – Mario Carta, Old Birds non raced, Cocks – Michael Cardona, Hens – John Portelli,(Bellusi), Young Birds raced, Cocks – Tony Grech, Hens – Frankie Cauchi, Old Birds raced, Cocks – John Bajada,(Argentine), Hens – Baldichino, Foreign Cocks, – Philip Carbonaro, Hens – Tony Harte, Best Cock, John Bajada,(Argentine), Best Hen – Mario Carta, Best Bird in Show, John Bajada, President Rabat RPS, Gozo.The judges were from Malta, Andre Scerri, Joe Saliba, John Catania, Manuel Sammut and Bertram Debono.
