Gozo Motocross Association organised its 4th Round of the Gozo Motocross Championship 2015/16 on Sunday, after previously being cancelled due to heavy rains.

The perfect weather attracted a large crowd to the track for what proved to be an exciting afternoon of racing.In Sunday's competition at Ta' Xhajma Motocross Track, GMA welcomed three ASMK riders to participate alongside the Gozitan riders. Class A and B saw a lack of riders due to many injuries and motorbike break downs. Therefore in Class B, Samuel Spiteri acquired the 60 points of the day while Nathaniel followed in second place.Class A featured an exciting Round 1, with Gozitan champion Etienne Bigeni holding tight to his first place in all three heats. Although injured from last week's event in Malta, Mario Cauchi participated in Class A and came in third. Second place was won by David Dimech.Maltese competitor Tristen Pisani also achieved maximum points and came in first in Class C. He was followed by Jorn Stellini and Josef Camilleri respectively.

Gozo Motocross Association has said that the next event will be a Fun Race on Sunday, the 13th of March at Ta' Xhajma Track.
