Memories of Gozo – is the title of an exhibition by Gozitan artist George Scicluna, taking place at the Exhibition Hall of the Ministry for Gozo, St Francis Square, Victoria.

In his latest exhibition: Memories of Gozo he has created vast panoramic scenarios in fitful flashes and splashes, convulsive autobiographic snapshots of great immediacy, vigour and grandeur: a vision both impressive and expressive.

With great freedom he seems to tear pages from his sketch books and collates them on a large surface to achieve a monumental spread as if clutching at life not wanting to let go. With determination and courage George faces life's vicissitudes and after deep reflection turns to action.Memories of Gozo: Exhibition by Gozitan artist George SciclunaThe exhibition will be officially inaugurated by the Minister for Gozo Dr Anton Refalo, on Saturday, the 2nd of April at 7.30pm.
