The Gozo Sports Festival opens this evening with a seminar – From Grass Routes to Elite, the Gozo Perspective – organised by Sport Malta at Villa Fiorita in Marsalforn.

Last year the Festival was held over one weekend, this year's events will be spread over four weeks.

The Gozo Sports Board has worked with various Gozitan and Maltese Sports entities and athletes to interact during a whole month of sports.

This festival will run until the 8th of May, with events taking place at different venues across the island.
