Parliamentary Secretary for the Rights of Persons with Disability and Active Ageing Dr Justyne Caruana, visited the Victoria Scout Group Headquarters at the weekend.

Dr Caruana met the Group Council and all sections of the Victoria Scout Group. She thanked the Group for all the work its members have carried out within the Gozo community during the past 53 years.

She then, on behalf of the Victoria Scout Group, presented a donation in the form of a cheque to Fr. Manuel Cordina, Director of the OASI Foundation.

Another cheque was presented by the Group Scout Leader Lorrie Saliba, for the same amount, to Fr. Michael Galea the representative of the Arka Foundation.

The money was raised during a charity Car Wash the Group held in April.
