Two men, both Italian, aged 55 and 61, were rescued uninjured after their ultralight aircraft ditched into the sea off Xlendi on Tuesday evening.
They were rescued by two men who were nearby on their private boat. The AFM were also on the scene to assist.
The incident happened at about 6.30pm and was caused through engine failure, Gozo Police said
