Teatru Astra in Gozo will be presenting Verdi's operatic masterpiece Aida on the 27th and 29th of October 2016 – the highlight of the fifteenth edition of Festival Mediterranea.

The Theatre said that Aida is peerless in Italian melodrama. All the great ingredients which make up Italian Opera are there: grandeur and intimacy; poignancy and implacability; vengeance and redemption; love and envy.It is indeed the triumph of women.
