"I was recently on board one of the the Gozo ferries and noticed so many people putting plastic bottles, cans and other materials directly into the black bins provided.

I think it's good that there are plenty of waste bins on decks, however having recycle bins next to general waste would be a far better idea.

I don't know what they do with the general waste, but would very surprised if it was sorted through.

I have contacted Gozo ferries, but I've had no reply, not even an acknowledgement of my email."
