Blossom and Trixie are two new residents at Gozo SPCA Rescue and Rehoming Centre. They both arrived this week, but not together……

Blossom, the Pointer was the first of the duo to be rescued, she had been surviving on the streets of Sannat with the help of kind people who fed her, waiting for the Centre to have space to take her in, she is around 9-12 months old.

Then a welcome friend arrived on the scene, who goes by the name of Trixie, she is a young female Fox Terrier, very friendly and the two new arrivals have now become pals.

The Centre said that both dogs will need to be neutered and chipped before rehoming, but if you are interested in giving either dog a home please contact Val on 99216815.

This Saturday morning they are having an Open Morning. Please call into the Centre to meet the all the dogs waiting for loving homes. You will be given a warm welcome by Val the Centre Manager and some of her team of carers.

They will be open from 7:30am to 11am – it is located in Victoria, near the bus terminus, on the far side of the children's playground.
