Following the Water Services Corporation's sewage main pipe failure in the Coast Road last week, Transport Malta has said that it will be reinstating the affected area over the coming days.
Part of one lane, towards Pembroke, will be closed for traffic from noon. Transport Malta will be scarifying the surface and then laying three layers of asphalt. Works are expected to be completed next Saturday.
Transport Malta apologised for the inconvenience and asked drivers "to drive carefully, follow temporary signs and officials' instructions. Disregarding these instructions will endanger the lives of workers on site."

My heart lifted, for a moment, when I read this headline on Gozo News.
But of course it is Malta’s “coast road”, again. It is being “repaired”, already. How nice for them.
What is being done about Gozo’s own coast road, the one that runs (along the coast) connecting the outskirts of Ghajnsielem and Gozo.
