The international project, called Animals Life NET, dedicated to live streaming from animal shelters and sanctuaries from European countries, has now started its project work in Malta.
Recently Animals Life NET began cooperation with the "Noah's Ark Dog Sanctuary" in Malta, They have two live web cams installed there, both of which can be found on the website here. So please take a look and see some of the dogs, and everyday life at the Sanctuary.
For the implementation of the project an online portal http://animalslife.net/ was created, where anyone can get acquainted with shelters' animals way of life, give them their support or to find a friend among them.
The project aims are:
– stimulate people to adopt animals from animal shelters;
– to disperse an opinion of poor treatment of animals at animal shelters;
– to encourage people to provide the necessary help to shelters and its inhabitants;
– to simplify the process of pet search;
– to join the volunteers' team.
To achieve the desired goals Animals Life NET install webcams in shelters for free and provide online video streaming on the website 24/7. It said that this enables everyone to look into the animals' way of life and become inspired to adopt a pet, volunteer or support shelters in any possible way.
