The Gozo College Literacy and Maths Departments, has animated the first two parental meetings from a series of meetings aimed at creating awareness on merging literacy and maths skills through everyday experiences.

The first meeting was aimed at Year 1 and Year 2 parents, whilst the second meeting targeted Year 3 and Year 4 parents. Over 100 parents were present for the sessions. Parents followed a short presentation on the importance of the transfer of skills for both Literacy and Maths and participated in two hands – on workshops.

The next series of parental meetings are scheduled for the 21st of November. These parental meetings are an extension of the Mathracy events which the College holds every year.
