Next Sunday is the last fundraising Charity Fair for 2016, organised by the Friends of the Sick and Elderly Gozo.
Various charity NGOs will have stalls set up on the day and it will be a great opportunity to buy Christmas gifts and decorations, so please go along and have a look around.
It is taking place at the football ground, adjacent to the main parking area in Victoria, on Sunday, the 11th of December, between 7.30am and 1.00pm.
Everyone is invited to take along any unwanted items, bric-a-brac etc and turn them into cash. A donation of €10 from sellers is requested. There is no need to book, sellers can just turn up on the day .
The Friends of the Sick and Elderly said that the following guidelines must be followed:
These Fairs help recycling between people of unwanted items which they own while helping the philanthropic work of the FSEG;
At the end of each event participants should remove their own rubbish and not leave anything behind.
No Commercial traders are allowed to participate;
No lorries, trucks or commercial vans are allowed in the area.
