The European Parliament’s LUX film prize has, over the past ten years, been a pioneering player in bringing European’s cinematic soul closer to Europeans and this again includes movie enthusiasts in Gozo, when next weekend, the three LUX film finalists will be shown at the Oratory Don Bosco Cinema in Victoria.
Subtitled in the EU’s 24 official languages, remarkable European films have travelled across the EU’s 28 member states to enlighten European cinema lovers. In 2016 and beyond, the LUX film prize will continue to explore new horizons with Toni Erdmann, As I Open My Eyes, and My Life as a Courgette.
As part of the wider reflection, the public is invited, as participating audience, to express and share its views with other Europeans and to vote for your favourite film on the LUX film prize website or facebook page, thus awarding an Audience Mention.
