The Gaulitanus Choir’s busy festive season programme of events reaches a climax on New Year’s Day, when it will once again musically usher in the New Year with the 5th edition of A New Year’s Toast.

This annual fare will be held at the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz, Gozo, on Sunday, the 1st of January, starting at 7.45pm. The event is supported by the Kempinski Hotel, Bank of Valletta and Playpen. A repeat performance will be held at the Hilltop Gardens, Naxxar, courtesy of the Hilltop’s management, on Tuesday, the 3rd of January, at 7.30pm. Entrance for both performances is free.

The concert will prominently feature the Gaulitanus Choir and its soloists Annabelle Zammit, Patricia Buttigieg, Stephanie Sultana Portelli, Marthese Borg, Josianne Callus and Joseph Calleja accompanied by resident pianist Stephen Attard. The event will be under the artistic/musical direction of the choir’s founder-director Colin Attard.

The programme for the evening will present a festive musical repertoire – including, among other, selections from The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof and a special New Year Medley.
