In December 2016, seasonally adjusted industrial production increased by 2.4 per cent over the previous month. When compared to December 2015, the index of industrial production adjusted for working days went up by 4.7 per cent, the National Statistics Office said today.

Increases were registered in the production of capital goods (4.1 per cent), consumer goods (0.6 per cent) and energy (0.1 per cent).

When compared to December 2015, the index of industrial production adjusted for working days went up by 4.7 per cent. Increases were registered in the production of intermediate goods (11.5 per cent), capital goods (5.9 per cent) and energy (2.8 per cent).
