Next Sunday, the Nadur Organised Carnival will get the celebrations underway for Carnival fun and fever in Gozo.
Carnival in Nadur starts at midday on Sunday, the 19th of February, with the organised events in St. Peter & St. Paul Square.
There will be plenty to entertain everyone of all ages with a riot of colour, laughter, a variety of carnival dances, hilarious sketches, costumes, maskeruni, floats and the traditional kukkanja to bring it to a close.
Then the very popular, Nadur Spontaneous Carnival, projecting the message of carnival made through satire, will start on Friday, the 24th through until Tuesday, the 28th of February.
This will take place in December 13th Street, St. Peter & St. Paul Square and the surrounding streets, beginning after sunset each day and lasting till the early morning hours.
Malta Public Transport has said that it will be operating a special public transport service to facilitate travel and accessibility to those attending the Carnival in Nadur, between the 24th and the 26th of February.
Carnival week is a time to let your hair down and go with the flow – perfect for those who enjoy a good party! There will be activities taking place in villages across the island.
