Applications for participating in the allocation of fishing positions used in the kannizzati fishery – the traditional Maltese method of capturing lampuki – may be collected and submitted by registered commercial fishing vessel owners, the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture has said.

The completed applications, together with the necessary supporting documentation, are to be submitted to the same addresses above from the 17th of April to the 28th of April, from 8.00am to 12:00pm, Monday to Friday or via email on infofisheries.msdec@gov.mt

Late applications under any circumstances will not be considered.
