The Gozo branch of the SPCA will be holding their Christmas Fayre and Open Day on Sunday, the 14th of December. The festivities will take place at the Victoria football ground from 9am till 3pm.

Many events will take place through the day, there will be displays by the Malta Police dog team, and the Malta mounted police section, as well as the Civil Protection department and the Red Cross.

Dr Frank Galea (DVM) will be on hand to help with any concerns and advice regarding pets. Especially for the children there will be pony rides and face painting.

The very well known television personality, and animal lover, Moira Delia, will be making an appearance at the fayre.

Homemade cakes, chutney’s and preserves will be available for sale, along with handmade jewellery, hampers and wines, cards and calenders.

The lovely dogs and cats of the Gozo SPCA, who are at present looking for a new home, will be there for everyone to meet.
