From July, taxpayers will be able to pay their income tax and social security contributions at any of the 40 MaltaPost branches throughout Malta and Gozo, the service will be free of charge.
Minister for Finance Edward Scicluna said that this has been made possible thanks to an agreement between the Finance Ministry and MaltaPost.
MaltaPost and the Inland Revenue Department, in collaboration with the Malta Information Technology Agency, are in the final stages of finalising the technical IT work and the service will be operational in July.
