This afternoon Prime Minister Joseph Muscat announced the new Labour Cabinet members.

There was a surprise change for Gozo, with former Parliamentary Secretary for the Rights of Persons with Disability and Active Ageing Dr Justyne Caruana, named as the new Minister for Gozo.

The former Minister Dr Anton Refalo, has been left out of the Cabinet, with the Prime Minister citing the reason being as Dr Refalo “had only been interested in the position of Gozo Minister.”

Clint Camilleri has been made Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights.
