Nadur’s Wirja Agrarja – Agricultural Fair, has been taking place this weekend, organised by the Nadur Local Council, as part of the celebrations for the feast of Imnarja.

l-Arcipriet Martin Camilleri Square, was the centre for the activities on Saturday evening and this morning.
Large crowds visited the fair this weekend, enjoying a variety of activities and events, from the past and the present, including displays of agricultural products, farm animals crafts, Gozitan food, farm machinery, an exhibition of lace making and local traditional folk music, among others.

There was a blessing of pets on Sunday morning, with a parade of horses and ponies.Photographs by Alain Salvary
