The National Blood Transfusion Service Pink October campaign for blood donations continues this weekend.

The Service is inviting members of the public who are able, to donate blood this coming Sunday, the 15th of October, during a session taking place at the Gozo General Hospital between 8:00am and 1:00pm, in the Outpatients Department.

“If possible please also encourage others to attend and donate as well.”

The Service is reminding everyone that it is important to always take their Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
