Grandparents Day 2017 was celebrated in Gozo yesterday, with a full day of activities for Grandparents and families from both Gozo and Malta, organised by Nanniet Malta.
These included a tour of the Citadel, a buffet lunch in Marsalforn, tombola, line dancing and entertainment.
Philip Michael Chircop, Founder President of Grandparents Malta, accompanied by his wife, Carmen Chircop, attended the events in Gozo. This year Grandparents Day was celebrated on the 8th of October.
The Bishop of Gozo Mgr Mario Grech, then celebrated Mass at Ta’ Pinu, which was transmitted live on TVM2.
Present for the Mass was the Minister for Gozo Dr Justyne Caruana.
