As from today, ten Bank of Valletta branches will remain open Monday to Friday until 4.00pm, including the Victoria branch in Gozo.
The Bank said that it is a pilot exercise that will run throughout the month of November. In Malta the branches are: Birkirkara, Mosta, Naxxar, Paola, Qormi, Qui-Si-Sana (Sliema), Republic Street Valletta, San Gwann and Zurrieq.
Geoffrey Ghigo, Head Retail Network at Bank of Valletta explained, “at Bank of Valletta, we are aware that the modern lifestyle demands greater flexibility to enable people to discuss their financial requirements at their convenience.
The Bank is advising customers visiting the branches during the additional hours to contact their branch in order to book an appointment. The only services that will not be extended during this time will be cashiering services.
