Mr John Magro and Mr Christian Magro, of Magro Brothers Gozo, were among the guest speakers at this week’s The Koperattiva tat-Tadam Ghall-Ipprocessar Ltd Annual General Meeting.

Addressing the farmers present, they said that cultivation of tomatoes for processing in Gozo and Malta, harvested during the summer months of each year, is still the largest crop being produced by our farmers.

Even with new systems and modern technology in cultivating tomatoes introduced during the years, they explained that “hand picked tomatoes remain one of the best quality crops being processed in our islands by Magro Brothers.”
