As from Monday the 5th of January 2009, normal scheduled operations kicked off, so now there is a need for blood again, not only for emergency operations but also for scheduled ones. This means a great demand for blood.

On Sunday the 11th of January, the Projectnews team will be at Hal Tarxien, were the kids will try to convince people to donate blood. The kids will be near the Tarxien parish church vicinities, between 9am and 12pm. Blood donation will take place at the Nazareth Hall, Tamal Street, Tarxien.

MP’s, personalities and projectnews members and the general public will attend. Projectnews kids are aware of the lack of blood problem and are appealing to the general public to donate blood to help others. Your donation counts.

Projectnews is aired every Wednesday at 4.30pm with a repeat on Saturday at 10.30am on TVM.
