The Malta Community Chest Fund is organising a concert in honour of The President and Mrs Fenech Adami on Friday, the 16th of January 2009 at 2000 hours, at St. John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta, with the courtesy of the St John’s Co-Cathedral Foundation and the Metropolitan Chapter.

The concert is being given by the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of Mro. Michael Laus, and with the participation of Soprano Miriam Gauci, Bass Noel Galea and the Collegium Musicum Choir, under the direction of Mro. Dion Buhagiar.

Following the concert, a champagne reception will be held at The Palace, Valletta.

A donation of 50 Euro per person to the Malta Community Chest Fund ensures the invitation to the reception. All proceeds go towards the Malta Community Chest Fund. It is through such fund-raising activities that the MCCF is able to reach out to the hundreds of families and individuals seeking different forms of assistance, including financial aid for the purchase of expensive medicines, and also travel and accommodation expenses by relatives accompanying persons undertaking medical treatment abroad.

Entrance is free for those who may wish to attend only the concert at the Co-Cathedral.
