The President’s Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society was officially set by President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, in June 2014, to promote wellbeing in diverse communities.

The President’s Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society said that it aims to identify, nurture and promote wellbeing through different activities while meeting people from all walks of life.

In order to reach even more individuals, communities and groups, they are sharing their message of wellbeing and inclusion through an exciting outreach project called Vanni.Following the launch of this project last month at Bugibba Square, this month the Foundation is looking forward to meeting with more people and this time Vanni will be coming over to Gozo.

The second stop on Vanni’s journey around the Maltese Islands will take place at the Marsalforn Promenade on Thursday, the 30th of August, between 7pm and 9pm.

The Foundation said that this interactive community event will include activities for all the family and will create a safe space for informal discussions about what enhances or hinders the wellbeing of individuals within the community and the particular realities of people living in Gozo.For those that don’t already know, Vanni is a road vehicle, equipped with a stage and various audio-visual and interactive tools. Together with Vanni the Foundation will be visiting different localities in Malta and Gozo.

Vanni emphasises the Foundation’s ethos and commitment to a bottom-up approach, by listening and interacting with diverse individuals, groups, and communities.
