Giving blood may not help just one patient, but possibly several, and the need for supplies is constant.
Next Tuesday, the National Blood Donation Service will be holding blood donation session in Gozo in order to help meet the challenge of maintaining a good blood reserve.
The service is calling on Gozo residents to donate blood on Tuesday, the 28th of August, between 1:00pm and 5:00pm – last registration is 5:00pm – at the District Health Centre in Xewkija.
It is important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
The Service thanks everyone who intends to donate.
