A 19-year-old from Fontana, Jethro Camilleri, has been placed under house arrest after being accused of the possession of cannabis and cocaine, the trafficking of cannabis, and theft.

Mr Camilleri also stood accused of breaking the conditions of a probation order and relapsing.

He appeared before Magistrate Anthony Ellul and pleaded not guilty. Magistrate Ellul placed him under house arrest against a deposit of €10,000 and a personal guarantee of €5,000.

Inspector Josric Mifsud was the prosecuting officer.
