Xaghra Basilica provided a beautiful setting for the Christmas Concert – Puer Natus Est -with the Voci Angeliche Choir of the Xaghra Parish, accompanied by the Cordia String Quartet.
Organised by the Xaghra Local Council, the concert was under the direction of Mro Ivan Attard A.MusTCL.
Minister for Gozo Dr Justyne Caruana attended the concert, accompanied by her husband Silvio Valletta. Also present was the Mayor of Xaghra Joe Cordina and a very large audience.
Donations were collected during the evening in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund.
