St Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, yes, I know it only seems like five minutes since the Christmas and New Year festivities, but Gozo is getting ready to celebrate again……

As part of the build-up to St Valentine’s, families and couples will have the opportunity to enjoy a Saturday evening drive-in movie theatre, so they can watch the movies from the comfort of their cars, during this one-off event.

The movies featured are classics within the love-theme universe – such as the animated film Lady & the Tramp (PG) at 8:00pm, a firm favourite and a must-see for both children and adults. This is followed by Moulin Rouge (PG-13) at 10:00pm, an ill-fated love story between a stunning courtesan and a struggling young writer.

The Drive-in Valentine Theatre night is being held in the football ground, adjacent to the main parking area in Victoria, on Saturday, the 9th of February, entrance is free of charge.

Entrance to the Valentine’s Movie night is free of charge. It is being organised by the Gozo Film Festival and the Ministry for Gozo – VisitGozo.
