The announcement of a fourth ferry joining the Gozo Channel fleet in the coming days, has been welcomed by the Gozo Tourism Association.
It also welcomed the announcement by the Minister for Gozo that three of the Gozo Channel vessels will be used for passengers and vehicles, while the fourth vessel will cater for cargo. “This is in line with one of the measures the Association was listing in its past Budget proposals,” the GTA added.
The Association concluded by saying that “this awaited addition of the fourth vessel to the Gozo Channel fleet will definitely improve the inter-island connectivity, especially now that the high season is just around the corner.”
