Free SEC Revision Classes have been launched for students under the EU-funded Youth Guarantee Project.

The Ministry for Education and Employment said that they are aimed at students who will be sitting for their Biology, English, Maltese, Mathematics and Physics resits in September.

The Ministry explained that the classes will run for five weeks in different centres across Gozo and Malta, starting on the 24th July until the end of August.

Students between 15-24 years who got a 6, 7, U, or were marked absent in any of the five core subjects mentioned above are eligible to apply for these classes.

Students can choose to take classes in a maximum of three subjects, including a choice of one science subject (Biology or Physics).

The Ministry added that this is an intensive course “which will demand the students’ full attention, especially those who are re-sitting more than one subject.”

Students can apply online by clicking here, applications must be made by Wednesday, the 17th of July at noon.

By applying for the revision classes, students are not automatically applying for the resit exam, therefore one must also apply for the resit with MATSEC, the Ministry said.

The project is part-financed by the European Social Fund, investing in human capital to create more opportunities and promote the well-being of society.
