Ghasri village will once again host Traditions: Wine, Olive Oil and Honey

Next month, the pretty village of Ghasri in Gozo will once again host an evening of – Traditions: Wine, Olive Oil and Honey – organised by the Ghasri Local Council and EcoGozo within the Ministry for Gozo.

This evening event, which is now in its third year, will offer visitors to the village the opportunity to partake in, a roasted pig, other local foods, wine and honey tasting activities, olive oil delicacies including a chance to try olive oil flavoured ice cream, as well as the very popular traditional sweet honey pastries.

Everyone in the family will enjoy this special evening, which also includes a children’s area by Jump Malta, and demonstrations of the production of wine and olive oil, beehive and honey wax displays.

Master of ceremonies for the evening will be Ron Briffa, with entertainment provided by Keith Anthony & Band and Novel Band.

Pjazza s-Salvatur in Ghasri, Gozo, is the setting for the event, which is on Saturday, the 21st of September, from 7.00pm onwards.
