Next weekend, the Oratory Youths F.C. will be hosting the second edition of the Gozo Beer Festival, with a promise that it will be “bigger, better and louder.”
Following on from last year’s huge success, this second edition will be held over two nights, the Friday and Saturday, the 23rd and 24th of August from 7.30pm onwards, in St Augustine Square, Victoria.
The organisers will be teaming up with local brewers Farsons who will set up tents in the square with many different beers for patrons to try. There will also be food stalls and a kids area on both evenings.
Entertainment will be provided by Mae and and DCapitals Band on Friday evening and then on Saturday by StraitAhead – Brooke and Red Electrick.

Primarily louder!!!
Yes why louder? Why does it need to be loud? There are many elderly people living in that Square, are you going to pay them a two nights stay in a Hotel?
The only beer available is Cisk, Cisk Excel, Blue Label, Skol or anything else that Farsons produces. More of a Farsons promotional event than a beer festival.
