Exhibition showcasing Nadur’s customs, art, culture and more

This weekend the exhibition – Nadur Customs, Art and Culture – will once again be open to visitors in the heart of one of Gozo’s main villages.

A unique collection of artefacts, tools, and instruments that were of everyday use in the past, are all on display withing the setting of a rustic townhouse -Dar Dun Frangisk Grima in Triq it-Tigrija, Nadur.

There will be work on display by a group of local artists and visitors will also be able to see a unique collection of musical instruments, many of them handmade and all being exhibited for the first time.

The underground shelter that was used by residents during World War II will also be open for viewing.

The Nadur Crib Association is organising the exhibition, it is a local not for profit voluntary organisation that works for the promotion and preservation of the traditional Maltese crib. Visits are by donation.

There will also be local products and plants for sale.

For those using public transport, you can take bus number 322 from Mgarr to Marsalforn, and stop at ‘Madonna,’ Racecourse Street, Nadur.
