Gozo will be hosting a full programme of events for European Mobility Week 2019. This year the theme is focusing on ‘multimodality’ – the mixing of transport modes within the same journey or for different trips.

Eco-Gozo (Ministry for Gozo) who are the organisers of the programme, has said that this campaign “provides the perfect opportunity to present sustainable mobility alternatives to local residents and to explain the challenges that cities and towns are facing.”

Various activities will be held across Gozo from the 16th till the 22nd of September which include: Free Open Air Exercise Classes – Bike Rides – Children’s Activities – Treasure Hunt … and much more. The full programme of events is shown below.

One of the initiatives will be a Treasure Hunt at the Gozo Citadel, taking place on Sunday, the 22nd of September.

Participants will have the opportunity to re-live this spectacular fort with a difference with a chance to win €500 in cash….
