The highlight of next year’s 14th edition of Gaulitana: A Festival of Music, organised by the Gaulitanus Choir, will be Giuseppe Verdi’s masterpiece Otello.
The Choir said that this production, will feature a “top-notch” international cast, together with the Gaulitanus Choir and the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra under the musical direction of Gaulitana’s artistic/musical director Colin Attard.
The production forms part of an artistic collaboration between Gaulitana: A Festival of Music and the Manoel Theatre, which, in 2020, will also see the production of the homonymous opera and play by Rossini and Shakespeare respectively.
Otello is taking place on Saturday, the 25th of April 2020, starting at 7.30pm, at the Aurora Opera House, Victoria, Gozo, as part of the festival’s concluding OPERA+ Weekend.
