The National Blood Transfusion Service is commemorating the Pink October campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness.
Therefore the Service is calling on the public to support those patients affected by this type of cancer.
Organised by the National Blood Transfusion Service, there will be the opportunity to donate blood during a session taking place in Gozo, this Tuesday, the 22nd of October, from 1pm to 5pm, last registration is at 5pm.
Donations can be made at the District Health Centre in Xewkija, located in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club.
The Service reminds everyone that it is important to always take your Identity Card, Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
The Service thanks everyone in advance who intends to donate.
