The second round of the Gozo Motocross Championship 2020 fuelledbyenemed was held on Sunday at Ta’ Xhajma Track.

The GMA said that twenty riders participated in the event, supported by numerous fans and enthusiasts who came to cheer on their favourite riders, who provided an exciting afternoon of racing for everyone.

In Class A, Steve Xuereb dominated the afternoon by achieving maximum points, followed by Glenn Vella and Greek guest rider, Dimitris Keramidas.

Class B was just as challenging, with Robert Spiteri, Daniel Portelli, and Jorn Stellini striving hard for first place. Portelli did in fact achieve first place, followed by Spiteri and Stellini.

In Class C, Isaac Bartolo held on fast to first place, also achieving full points. GMA said that it was pleased with the return of 2019 Class D Champion David Mercieca, who placed second. Maltese rider Ryan Faenza came in third.

Rider Michael Sant won first place in Class D. He was followed by Jurgen Attard, Mark Attard came in third.

At the end of the event, trophies, supported by J&D Cycles, were awarded to the winners while championship points were collected.

Gozo Motocross Association said that the third round of the Gozo Motocross Championship 2020 fuelledbyenemed will take place on Sunday, the 15th of December, at Ta’ Xhajma Track. Races start at 1:00pm
