MV Nikolaus ferry is now back to resume operations with Gozo Channel, the company said today. The ferry had been out of service for a month.

The fourth ferry has been out of service for a month to undergo modifications for easier accessibility. The modifications were carried out at an overseas shipyard with the costs covered by the ship owners.

Side ramps have been installed for passengers to be able to board at the respective terminals of Cirkewwa and Mgarr.

The MV Nikolaus will continue to operate the service until the tender process is finalised for a new ship.
