Gozitan author Charles Daniel Saliba and Adrian Muscat have launched Il-Malti Avvanzat 2, a course book to complement paper 2 of the new MATSEC exam advanced syllabus.

The authors said that this book is ideal for anyone who has to teach, learn or administer the new A-level and get ready for the 2021 exam.

Il-Malti Avvanzat 2 covers all the sections in paper 2 of the exam and among others contains:

· notes on all the poems listed in the syllabus related to the books Mal-Fanal Hemm Harstek Tixghel and Xi Drabi Mqar Persuna;

· advice on good literature essay writing skills;

· advice on literature criticism;

· a detailed explained list of figures of literary discourse;

· model answers in the form of essays for every section in this paper;

· five model papers of the written exam.

In the coming weeks the authors will launch Il-Malti Avvanzat 3, the last book of the series, which prepares students for Paper 3 of the Maltese Advanced level exam.
