The contracted ferry service between Malta and Comino has been postponed, Transport Malta said today.

In a statement, its said that “in view of the various concerns” received by the Authority it has consulted with both the Operator contracted to carry out the service as well as with a number of concerned Commercial Vessel Operators.

TM concluded by saying that it “considers it prudent to temporarily postpone the commencement of the service to assess in more detail the operational aspects and berthing facilities.”
